So... what brought you here?
If you reading this post then you were probably searching for acrylics review as you wondering what sort of acrylic paintings are the best to use...
There are many acrylic paints out there on the market but best in my opinion are Pébéo Studio Acrylic Paint Set. These are the only paints I now use for my art pieces.
Why I've chosen those?
I have tried a few different brands when started to paint. Unfortunately once they dried the colours weren't vivid and the pigments weren't rich enough.
Because my ideas are always full of colour I decided to search for different brands.
Christmas was coming so I knew what to ask for a present ;) I thought I give Pébéo Studio a go! It was the kind of present I found very useful.
The first abstraction painting I've created was "Blue line". I used palette knife technique. I was happy with the basic colours than added metallic paints as well.
I have created a few paintings to see how good the Pébéo Studio set is.
The overall effect was great and rich. I knew I found the paints that are great and I will keep using them.
I read that this particular set is great for producing 3D effects and as you can see it turned well. "Peacock" 3D painting looks great. I was very happy with the result.

So what do I think about Pébéo Studio Arcylic Paints?
-The colours are vivid with a rich pigmentation
-They are great for creating 3D effect
-Nice satin matt finish
-Thick consistency that holds on to brush or palette knife
-High viscosity
-Suitable for most surfaces
-Easily mixable with each other
-Brushes are easy to clean off with water
- Touch dry in 30 minutes to 1 hour and thoroughly dry between 1 and 8 days depending on thickness
-Affordable price
Pébéo Studio High Viscosity Acrylic paints are just the best on the market!
As you can see the colours are rich and vivid. "Positive mind" abstraction shows it all :)
Although it is mixed media art piece the main background has been painted using Pébéo.
Other materials used:
To paint "More than Gold" I also used metallic, iridescent Pébéo Studio DYNO paints that are usually included in the set however you can buy them separately too :)
Metallic acrylic paints on 50x60 cm canvas.
I don't just only use those acrylics to paint on canvas but also on furniture projects and different DIY's, why not try it yourself?
